Hale Kipa 'O Pele bed & breakfast is named in honor of Madame Pele, the fire goddess & ruler of Hawai'i's Volcanoes. Hale Kipa 'O Pele was created as an intimate tropical retreat, and is nestled on the volcanic slopes of Mount Hualalai, overlooking the sunny Kona coastline. An "INN-timate", romantic experience awaits you at Hale Kipa 'O Pele! Passing through the gates of the "guest house of Pele", the tropical splendor will truly entice your senses. You will succumb to its tranquil atmosphere and abundant flora and fruit tree groves.
A majestic volcanic dome graces the entrance drive. The plantation-style home surrounds an open-air atrium with cascading waterfalls into a koi pond. The atrium's walkway provides a private entrance to each suite. A covered wooden lanai wraps around the home providing a full panoramic view of the lush landscape and vibrant sunsets. We provide a tropical continental breakfast of local fruits and pastries, along with fresh Kona coffee & tea. After a day of activities, relax and unwind in our garden jacuzzi underneath the starlit heavens. For your entertainment, enjoy movies on the theatre-sound system.
It is our desire at Hale Kipa 'O Pele to provide a gracious ohana (family) hospitality and true "ALOHA" spirit, that only a tropical style Bed & Breakfast can offer. You will be rejuvenated by exotic Hawai'i. We invite you to share the enthusiasm of your hosts who truly cherish this small part of the world, known as Paradise! |
