Clientele Type: Gay Friendly

10 Cawthra Square was built in 1901 as a Sergeant's home for the York Militia. One of the last remaining pair of several pairs of identical homes on Cawthra Square, number ten was lovingly restored to its original plan in 1994. The spacious original plan was ideal for use as a private residence & home office by Toronto real estate agent Ric Tremaine, who specializes in "adaptive re-use" and city-core properties. Ric and Frank Shim opened this splendid Edwardian as Ten Cawthra Square B&B in 1996, offering it's lovely upscale guest-rooms to travelers. The focus at Cawthra Square is the gay business traveller. The den/library is available for your use at any time. It is complete with laser fax, PC, laser printer, scanner and copier. One can also host a client meeting in one of our formal or meeting rooms. We can provide larger meeting or private-function rooms, catering, and city tours. Bay Street, the heart of Toronto's financial and business community, is within walking distance. The three guest rooms, operated in conjunction with the twelve guest rooms of nearby 512 Jarvis, comprise "Cawthra Square Bed & Breakfast".
